Black Pencil invited composers to write with complete freedom for its unique instrumentation of recorder, pan flute, viola, accordion, and percussion. The challenge was: explore, experiment, and push boundaries to surprise the audience.

With virtuoso compositions from composers of various generations and nationalities, including Anthony Fiumara (Netherlands), Celia Swart (Netherlands), Igor Silva (Portugal), Akim Moiseenkov (Netherlands), Hugo Morales (Mexico), and Enric Monfort (Spain). Colorful, creative, innovative, and out of the box.
