INTO SPACE

Daring Compositions for a Daring New Land
A place shaped by newcomers from all corners of the world, marked by openness to experimentation and an unexpected blend of old and new — these qualities define both the province of Flevoland and the ensemble Black Pencil. It is therefore no surprise that Flevoland’s distinctive landscape and Land Art have served as a powerful source of inspiration for Black Pencil, resulting in striking new works composed by bold and visionary artists.
In doing so, a new chapter is added to the experience of Flevoland: music created by human hands in close dialogue with the environment. This synergy between sound and place is so deeply felt, it is sure to inspire a visit to the daring New Land.
I wish you great enjoyment as you listen.
